'Let's Help You Design Your Smile'

Why Families Choose The Smile Centre

The Smile Centre is a family dental practice in Bridgetown, Barbados, providing children’s dentistry, preventive care, gum health support, wellness-minded dentistry, and foundational dental care for the whole family.

At The Smile Centre, we believe healthy smiles are built, not patched. Our care begins with what we call Foundational Dentistry — everyday dental care that supports lifelong oral health through thorough exams, prevention, education, and careful treatment planning.

We do not look at teeth in isolation. We look for clues in your gums, bite, jaw, tongue, habits, diet, medical history, stress, medications, and lifestyle, because oral health is connected to the whole person.

For children, we aim to make dentistry feel less frightening and more understandable. Through gentle visits, education, and initiatives like The Tuff Toof Team, we help children become active, confident little investigators in their own oral health.

After more than three decades in dentistry, Dr. Camille Hope’s philosophy remains simple:

When people understand their mouths better, they can care for their health better.

That is why families choose The Smile Centre.

Testimonials

A wonderful experience for me and my 3 year old. Dr.Hope and her staff were warm and welcoming. They made us feel at ease and I was impressed by how gentle and thorough the examination was. She even caught an issue with his tonsils that we hadnt remembered to mention on the intake form. She explained her findings, went over recommendations for toothpaste, brushing, flossing, diet and ways to promote good oral and whole body health.

Just wanted to say thank you to the entire staff of the smile center who worked on Monday December 4th,2023 for accommodating my grandson at short notice. The experience was very professional and comfortable. Thank you especially to Kembali and Crystal who welcomed and made myself very comfortable as we waited forthe doctor to come.

No complaints of the service. Dr. Hope and staff create an environment that is relaxing and interactive. For each procedure there is an explanation. So far I cannot find any fault with dental work performed on my son.

My son had an appointment here yesterday and I must commend the service of everyone in this establishment!!... customer service top teir, manners at another level... the nurses as well as the doctor explained everything super well to me as well as to my 9 year old son... they asked him if he had any questions and made him understand it's OK to ask those questions which many people don't do and I appreciate that... we will be back soon for his next appointment as well as my second son. Thank you all very much for a pleasant dentist visit!

My experience with The Smile Center started during national shut down. The staff are VERY professional, patient, kind and friendly. As with most people, I became so nervous having to get an extraction done. Dr. Hope and Kim were honest and extremely comforting. It is evident that they genuinely care for all their patients and love what they do.
They are the absolute BEST in Barbados!!!
