A note for parents
If your child feels anxious about dental visits, this program exists so that their first experience of our practice isn't tied to treatment at all. It's simply a chance to become familiar — with the room, the sounds, the people — before anything is ever asked of them.

  • The water gun step only happens with your permission
  • If more time is needed, we simply schedule another visit — no pressure, no timeline

The Visit, Start To Finish

A welcome in the waiting room

Your child meets our team first, in the most familiar room in the practice, and picks out a sticker to start the visit.

The picture room

An introduction to the camera — what it looks like, what it does, and that it's nothing to be afraid of.

Into the operatory

A first look at the room itself and the chair, with time to get comfortable before anything else happens.

Meeting the instruments

Kid-sized versions of our tools — a mirror and a tooth counter your child gets to hold themselves.

The Choo Choo Train toothbrush

Our whistling toothbrush — the same one, every visit — so the sound becomes familiar rather than surprising.

The water gun (optional)

A quick squirt of water, only if you give the okay — a small, playful preview of a real visit.
